SAANVI & CO — RETURNS & REFUND POLICY (AUSTRALIA)

Effective 2025

At Saanvi & Co, we are committed to offering high-quality jewellery at fair, honest prices. This policy explains how returns are handled in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our strict hygiene and safety standards.


NO CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

Due to hygiene, handling and safety requirements, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on any jewellery items.

This includes:

  • Not liking the item

  • Item not suiting personal style

  • Size, colour, fit or preference changes

  • Mistaken or duplicate orders

  • Gift suitability issues

Jewellery is a personal-wear item, and once it leaves our premises, it cannot be resold for hygiene reasons.

We also keep our pricing fair and transparent by not building return costs into our product prices, which allows us to offer genuine everyday value without hidden markups. Because returns cannot be resold, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.


YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Your protections under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) remain fully in place.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if your item:

  • arrives faulty or damaged

  • develops a major fault

  • is incorrect or not as described

  • is unsafe

These rights apply regardless of our store policy.


FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your item is faulty or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at:

info@saanviandco.com.au

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or video of the fault

  • Photos of packaging if damaged in transit

Once assessed and confirmed:

  • A repair, replacement or refund will be offered

  • Return shipping is covered by us

  • If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued

Original packaging is not required for faulty item returns.


EARRINGS — HYGIENE RESTRICTIONS

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings, unless they are faulty.

This applies even if:

  • Unworn

  • Packaging opened

  • Change of mind

This is standard practice within Australian jewellery retail.


HANDMADE & BEADED ITEMS

Our handmade and beaded items may include natural variations such as:

  • Slight bead shape or colour variations

  • Minor tension differences

  • Normal irregularities from handcrafted assembly

These are not considered faults unless there is a structural or functional issue.


WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

If an incorrect item is delivered:

  • We cover all return shipping

  • The correct item will be sent immediately

  • If unavailable, a refund will be issued


RETURN SHIPPING

  • Faulty or incorrect items: return shipping covered by us

  • Change-of-mind returns: not accepted

Returns sent without prior approval may be declined.


REFUNDS

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing may take up to 10 business days, depending on your bank


FINAL NOTES

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Returns that do not meet the conditions above, or are sent without authorisation, may be declined.
